Ever wonder where you'd end up if you took your dog for a walk & never once pulled back on the leash?
It had been drizzling in Pune for 2 whole days before I had to travel there for the shoot. Even while in the car on my way, I encountered some very dark clouds & very heavy rain. My shoot with Marshall was scheduled to happen the next morning & I was praying to all the Gods that exist that we would have good weather...
The next morning, when I reached Oxford Golf Resort for our shoot & I can't tell you how lucky we were to get a whole day of bright sun & clear skies! I'd rather sweat in the sun than get drenched in the rain & have to cancel the shoot!
Say hello to Marshall, a beautiful 7.5 years old Golden Retriever. He has the sweetest disposition, the softest fur & is such a goodboi, he never goes against anything his parents tell him!
Marshall looooves grass, so we took him there & he walked all the way over to the edge & just looked out at the moutains. I asked his parents to stand behind me initially so that I could capture the moment Marshall was having alone looking at the view.
But what a view it was for us too. One of the most beautiful moments that I got to witness in all my time of shooting dogs.
Sometimes, when I look through the viewfinder & click the shutter button, I just KNOW I've got the shot, this was one of those times.
Then, I let his parents go out there & stand with him, taking in the moment.
His parents mentioned to me that they never had any good photos taken of Marshall, especially not with them so I had to make it a point to give them some timeless family portraits!
I absolutely love shooting the same image in various perspectives. Different poses, different angles which surprisingly give out different emotions!

1, 2 or 3?
