Learn Pet Photography!
This course teaches pet photography from the ground up — behaviour + body language, camera craft + angles, capturing a dog’s personality and lastly post-shoot editing.
The course is 4 weeks long, 3 hour sessions per week, ending in a live shoot for shelter dogs to help take beautiful photos for their adoption posts!
Every skill built in the classroom serves that final purpose: producing photographs that are technically strong, emotionally honest, and accurate enough to connect a dog with the person who will take them home.
This is not a course about beautiful photographs. It is a course about photographs that matter.
Do I need to be a pet photographer to do the course?
Not at all!
If you really love animals & want to tell their story, then this is perfect for you.
We are looking for photographers who already know photography but would like to be a part of something that’s bigger than ourselves.
Do I need a professional camera?
Yes!
This course is specifically for photographers who would like to venture into pet photography.
You could be an amateur just starting out or a professional who's already been working in the field. But understanding of how photography & a camera works is a must!
Do I need to reside in Mumbai to do this course?
Not at all!
We are hosting the workshop online for 4 weeks.
The weekly assignments given to you will be carried out by you on your own time & will be reviewed by everyone in the next class.
The only in-person activity we will be doing together would be the Shelter Dog Shoots which would be the culmination of the course. I will be hosting those in 2 cities

What does the course include?
Week 5
A very important part of Pawparazzi is "giving back".
As a group, we will head to an NGO / shelter & click photos for them of doggos who are looking for their forever homes.
This is included as a part of your course where you will get a chance to give back & help those in need. Adoption photos are extremely important in showing people a dog's true personality.

You will learn to read a dog, to find the light, hold the angle, & capture the true personality.
In Week 5, the photographs you shoot at the shelter will go onto adoption listings. They will be the first impression a stranger has of a dog who has been waiting, sometimes for months, for someone to choose them.
